CONGRATULATIONS, Gov. Spines!

And, yes, Vice Gov. Ferdie Calimlim!

Now, it can be told. The Gov. is  a “murderer.” He murdered his opponent, outgoing Mayor Nani Braganza, with a voting margin of something like 530,000! Wow, wow, wow!

Sabi da, it’s just like before when he clobbered than popular Victor Agbayani in a “murderous” manner.

Maganda naman at nag-concede na si Nani. He even recalled their happy days together in the past.

Talagan ontay politika, Manny!

In the 4th district congressional race, parang walang nangyari. Re-electionist Gina de Venecia all the way.

Her and Belen’s election was a resounding wallop against dynasty in the city. It’s a good sign. Let’s keep it that way.

Hep, let’s take a curious look at this. Nani won in Infanta, hometown of the late mayor Ruperto Martinez.

Other head-turners: Spines’ 24- year old son Jumel won as mayor of Bugallon, while Nani’s son, Lean, lost to Arturo Celeste in Alaminos.

By the way, Nani, outgoing mayor of Alaminos City, lost in his own backyard to spitfire Spines!

Oh, yes, Nani – in spite of FVR’s campaigning – lost to Spines in Asingan town.

Namayagpag si Ranjit Shahani who won his board member seat.

Oy, doon sa Bani country, ruled by a close Agbayani ally, Mayor Marcelo Navarro, has a new mayor, Gwen Palafox Yamamoto.

It’s a super glorious victory for Spines, mga kabaleyan!

Manlitson kay 1000 ya baka, Governor. Inaro kay Pangasinenses.

Where are you now, Atong?

In our own Peyton Place of Dagupan, Belen Fernandez and Brian Lim will assume their posts of mayor and vice mayor in 30 days.

It was a grueling, bruising fight. This columnist and our publisher Ermin were victims of the blackest propaganda that even portrayed us as oranggutang in a tabloidish sheet or shit and named it “Sunday Punch” printed by Lelia Sy a day before Election Day.

Lawyers are studying what criminal suit will be filed against the culprits.

Amay impanggamit day ngaran na Sunday Punch …mantalaran ira ya..

Even our Manong JDV was portrayed with horns on his head like Satanas. Makapkapoy so otek da raya manaya.

In our view, that sheet (shit) dismayed electors. Instead of encouraging them to vote for Benjie; they succeeded in isolating him from the people. We hate to write nasty things now. Tapos na ang boksing!

We were just wondering how City Health officer Dr. Leonardo Carbonnel has kept mum all the while regarding BSL’s health update.

No, Dagupenos could not be blamed from speculating about his health kasi walang medical report from the Lims’ camp. It should have been their sacred duty to inform the Dagupan public.

Frankly, we commiserate with the Lim family. The political exercise was simply that. Let the Rule of Law reign!

As for Belen’s propagandists, they won the public’s hearts and minds because they dealt with issues- specific, hard issues.

We hope Mayor- elect Belen will follow up these issues even after the political exercise. The failed Awai deal, MC Adore, the non-remittance of fiesta funds, overpriced noodles during the calamity… Dagupenos want to know. Ankakabaleg ya cuartay baley so asikmat! Even the mushrooming of fishpens tha is causing fishkill… the law department can’t just shrug these off.

No, definitely, a big NO! This is not harassment! This is in accordance with our vow to let the Rule of Law prevail. So, bato bato sa langit, ang tamaan ay huwag magalit.
