Danding says Spines is ‘unbeatable’
By Gonzalo Duque
BAY AREA, U.S.A. – It’s been a tiring tour. Yes, our visit was both official and unofficial.
We might cut short our trip because of the calamities in the Philippines.
It warms our heart to know that compared with Typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng, the damage left by Gener is not so much.
Kaya lang, about 90 people died, we heard. And there was so much anguish among our affected folk.
Like we said before, agtayo lilingwanan so Amalsa ed sicatayo. And since we are at the mercy of the weather, we should always be vigilant and on the alert; like the proverbial boy and girl scouts, we are always prepared.
We’ll make more an elaborate report on our US trip next issue.

We heard about this juicy item here: It’s about boss Danding’s endorsement of Guv Spines’ reelection. Well, you can say it’s no longer news to hear people say re-electionist Gov. Spines is unbeatable in the 2013 elections. But since the one saying it is the political guru himself and kingmaker, Danding Cojuangco, it makes headlines.
Papaano yan Nani, Victor?
We heard that what the opposition will do is crucify Spines in the court. Ipapaconvict daw ed kaso!
Hmmm…trabahoy talunan itan, mga abay, Madi. Macapoy, Laos.
Right now, congrats, Gov. Spines.

We’re glad Dr. Robin Navarro of the eggs and bulalo fame has already guested at our PPC Media in Action forum.
We’ve heard so much about this close friend of our late brother, Dr. Ado. We know him to be well informed about wellness and rejuvenation.
Navarro is a scholarly physician.
Our family has many doctors. Our late father Paco, his eldest son Dr. Ado, sister Luz, Paco’s namesake, former DOH Sec. Pingkoy, and grandchildren.
It’s not surprising then that we instantly developed an interest in Dr. Navarro because he is not only a doctor of medicine being a graduate at the FEU College of Medicine, but a non-conformist type. And we heard, scholarly and very spiritual.
He is changing the medical scene because of his orthodox wellness and treatment methods. What’s important is his very good track in his patients.
Pagbalik natin dyan, we’d visit him at his clinic. We’d ask him about food supplements amay manpagwapo tan manpaogaw.
He is not a rejuvenation expert for nothing, di ba?

Kaskasian met iray kabaleyan tayo nen imbebeneg iran agew lapud ag manondan oran tan delap.
Dagupan City and most parts of the 4th District were truly spared from too much damage, as Rep. Gina de Venecia reported to underscore that “the scanty damage was due to her anti-flood projects.”
She is correct. But, if we may add, it’s also due to the Aquino government’s being most responsive in disaster-preparedness and mitigation.
Thank God, we have hurdled the floods’ grave damages.

We received reports that most Fourth District leaders are worried at the precarious condition of the earth-dike in Sison along the Bued River due to the continuous rains.
Amta yo, agagui, no ag antonday oran, onlemek so dalin. Say panaaboridoan da iray opisyales tan residente et sayay makapataktakot ya delap ya singa amay Typhoon Pepeng when the flood reached the rooftops.
Yes, like Ondoy.
Say eyey tan kerew na karaklan et ipa-concrete may Sison earth dike so that we could have sound sleep. It’s super risky to leave the earth dike as is.
We’re calling the attention of Reps. Kimi Cojuangco and Gina de Venecia!

Sad news. Our Examiner colleague Alex Tulao suffered a stroke that rendered him semi paralyzed. He is now confined at the Provincial Hospital after a couple of days at the Nazareth Hospital.
We’ve asked EVP Ashok to get the Club into action to help him. We heard some public officials led by Gov. Amado Espino Jr., Mayor Benjie Lim, Reps. Pol Bataoil and Gina de Venecia, Mayors Lito Saplan, Hermie Romero, Mark Macanlalay and Vice Mayor Roy Macanlalay among others have sent help to Alex and his family.
See you, mga abay, beerkada, amigos and amigas, soon.
