Playing with Fire
Appeals for sobriety

THE country seems not to learn its lessons. Or is Philippines Circa 2008 bound for some more chaos and divisions?
What’s happening to our country ate Au?
Surely, it’s premature if not preposterous to blame the worsening chaos on Jun Lozada’s playing-hero antics. The guy was only afraid for his life. So many impressions and “disinformation” has marred the public consciousness.
It’s now our duty to get the ship of state moving for the sake of us all.
The problem with some people is that they have little or no regard of the implications of their acts so long as they satisfy their egos.
To our mind, they are the worst destabilizers than their counterparts in the military sector.
Tayong mga nasa silent majority who only want a peaceful life, ang iniintindi lang natin ay ang mabuhay ng tama at umasenso na galling sa ating pawis, di po ba?
So to us, it’s not Quo Vadis? But Forward Philippines! We have a choice – and that is for the better.

Our publisher, Ermin, told us it was best for Brod Pingkoy to resign while the
GMA ship is floundering on perilous waters.
With due respect, our view is that it’s too premature to do that. Brod Pingkoy is doing his best in his own field and is doing well in promoting public health. There’s so far no tinge of politics in his good performance. We should allow him to complete his term.

Modesty aside, we were the first, as for as memory can go, to report to the media (PDI) about our own personal experience in connection with feng shui. We experienced it when we were Deputy Administrator of POEA.
Now, Palace Chief Legal Counsel Sergio Apostol has confessed that the location of his office in Malacañang has to be moved because of bad Feng Shui. Magaling. But he has received so much flak already.

By the time you read this, we should have left for the U.S. Yes, education and business matters. We shall send you dispatches from there as we used to. We also want to observe the US presidential elections at close range. As of this point, it’s a see-saw between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in the Democratic Party – and seemingly, the Republic nomination is already in the bag for Sen. McCain. Wait for new developments.
