Pangasinan’s pride in Agricultural Research

Although she won the third place in the research paper category during the 2004 national symposium, her paper in 2002 won the first place.
Four of her research papers also won the best paper award during the annual conventions of the Philippine Society of Animal Science in 1999, 1997, 1990, and 1988.
In addition, she won three best research paper awards [2005, 2004, and 2002] and one best development paper award [2005] during the Central Luzon regional symposium on research and development highlights. Two of her research posters have also won first place during the same occasion in 2004 and 2001. No less than the PCC has also recognized her as its most outstanding employee [research and development category] during its 10th anniversary in April 2004.
Nilda is at present pursuing the Doctor of Philosophy in agricultural sciences, specializing in reproduction biotechnology, at the University of Tsukuba in Ibaraki, Japan through a Ronpaku fellowship from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. She finished the Master of Science in reproduction biotechnology from the Miyazaki University in Japan and the BS in biology from the Central Luzon State University.
