1,266 persons arrested in police anti-gambling ops
THE Police Regional Office 1’s intensified anti-gambling campaign in the region resulted in the arrest of 1,216 persons in 375 separate operations conducted by the four police provincial offices from September12 to 18.
Of those arrested, 745 were from Pangasinan, 166 from La Union, 190 from Ilocos Sur and 115 from Ilocos Norte.
The one-week anti-gambling operations netted a total of P360, 466 in bets.
The anti-gambling operations are in line with the MKK=K program of PNP chief, General Rodolfo Azurin Jr. (104.7 IFM Dagupan)
