New chapel rises in Binmaley
BINMALEY–The remote barangay of Nagpalangan here has recently become the proud home of its first fully air-conditioned Catholic chapel.
The blessing of the chapel and the first mass there was celebrated by Reverend Father Manuel Bravo, a local of this town, with parishioners led by Mayor Simplicio Rosario who donated his personal funds for the construction of the chapel.
The inauguration coincided with the barangay fiesta celebration.
Rosario said it was part of his promise to give the people in the community a convenient worship place near their homes.
The mayor’s daughter, Architect Leslie Rosario-dela Cruz, designed the chapel.#
