LINGAYEN—Pangasinan’s athletes harvested four gold, 10 silver and 10 bronze medals as of the penultimate day of the Batang Pinoy National Finals in Bacolod City, and was in 6th place as of Friday morning in the overall standing out of 139 local government units entered in the meet.

LINGAYEN–Pangasinan Wadoryu, the province’s Karatedo team bested other teams after grabbing 15 gold, nine silver and eight bronze medals during the first Governor Amado T. Espino Jr. (GATE) Karate Cup held at the Narciso Ramos Sports and Civic Center Gymnasium last January 11.

LINGAYEN–Team Pangasinan, composed of some 92 athletes aged 16 years old and below, is set to compete in this year’s Batang Pinoy National Finals slated on January 28-February 1 in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
