1,770 get scholarship grants

LINGAYEN– Gov. Amado Espino III awarded scholarship grants to 1,770 provincial scholars enrolled in the Pangasinan State University(PSU) last week.

“Being the father of the province, I’m asking you na pagsumikapan niyo po ang inyong pag-aaral dahil buhay niyo po ang nakasalalay dito.

Sana po ay patuloy niyo pong pagsumikapan ang pag-aaral dahil kayo po ang pag-asa ng bayan, ng ating probinsya – ang Pangasinan,” said Board Member Jeremy Agerico Rosario, chairman of Committee on Education and, author of ordinance creating the Governor’s Excellence Awards on Academics and Leadership in the province.

Rowena Montoya, a provincial scholar graduate, shared her struggles during her schooling days.

(PIO/AV)
