BARANGAY chairman Guillermo Vallejos of Poblacion Oeste, who is now on his third and last term, has been elected president of the Liga ng mga Barangay – Dagupan City Chapter.

Beating his lone opponent, Luis Santiago Samson III of Barangay Pogo Chico, by one vote, Vallejos was proclaimed president by the Election Committee chaired by Gregorio Taminaya, barangay chairman of Bacayao Sur.

Other winners were Barangay chairmen Joaquin Reyes (Tapuac) as vice-president, and Samuel Guadiz (Mayombo), auditor.

Topping the election of Board of Directors was Condrado Muyalde (Salisay). The other elected members of the board are George Galvan (Pogo Grande), Bernard Cabison (Mangin), Salvacion Bravo (Herrero-Perez), Pedro Gonzales (Bonuan Binloc), Roberto Melecio (Barangay II), Marvin Fabia (Bolosan), and Perfecto Velasquez Sr. (Carael).
