To Mr. Jeremias Andrade Carrera,

Sir, the Dawel-Pantal Highway from now on, in this forum, is now called Ermin Garcia Sr. Memorial Highway.

Let us thank the Dagupan City Council, in advance, for passing a resolution naming the Dawel-Pantal Highway as Ermin Garcia Sr. Memorial Highway to honor a Pangasinense hero-the founder, publisher and editor of Sunday Punch provincial newspaper who was shot to death because of his courage to expose corruption–Mr. Ermin Garcia Sr.–more than 40 years ago.

We now have to put up the signboard on both end of the highway. Here is to honor Ermin Garcia Sr.–Cheers!!!
