Mr. Oriel, you reasoned that if there was moral decay, then it means they, CBCP, failed big time in their responsibility. That it meant “they were not able to bring all or majority of their flock closer to the Lord our God.”
Would it be fair for me then to say that Gloria Macapagal Arroyo failed big time in her duty when she placed her left hand on top of a bible, raised her right hand, and promised to her people “I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully and conscientiously fulfill my duties as President of the Philippines, preserve and defend its Constitution, execute its laws, do justice to every man, and consecrate myself to the service of the Nation. So help me God.”?
To the best of your knowledge, Mr. Oriel, had she preserved and defended the Constitution of the Philippines, executed its laws, done justice to every man, and consecrated herself to the service of her Nation? Yes, God help her.
