“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth”.

I wonder, how long has this been “written”? Does anyone know? And if it’s been around for a very long time, then I guess my next question would be, who are these “meeks” who’ve inherited the earth? Where are they?

And if no one can readily admit to being a “meek” out there, then how long do we have to be “meeks” before we can inherit the earth? What else do we have to do as “meeks” so that our-great-great-great grandchildren have a chance of inheriting the earth?

“Definitely, meekness will solve the problems plaguing the country.” By all means, enlighten us, Mr. Oriel.

And, please don’t quote the bible. Tell us in your own words what do the 90 million Filipinos have to do to show “meekness” so that we can all help solve the problems plaguing the country.
