Duque on Dengue:

While the Honorable Secretary of Health Francisco Duque III can hardly allocate enough money (only 2.5 M pesos) to buy reagents for use by the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, this administration does not give a damn about money being wasted to corruption for pet projects.

Health programs is not so big (very little SOP) as to be considered for priority funding by this administration.

A few thousand Filipinos that may die from dengue, will not even be considered important by this administration, since it can sacrifice the funding for the housing project for the military who are supporting her stay in power.
