I find it amazing how many Filipinos (or those who claim to be Filipino) seem to forget the hardships that are being endured by those in their former homeland. All they can do is criticize those who are less fortunate trying to make a better life for their family.

Mr. Pontaoe, who is fortunate enough to be able to eat what he wants and live in comfort, seems to forget the degradation OFW’s must endure to help not only their family but also their country.

Remember, Mr. Pontaoe, being well versed or read is not always a sign of intelligence. Some things are better coming from the heart and not the brains.
