Hopefully, a Pangasinan FBP chapter soon

Mr. Pontaoe and Edwin,
Thanks for the info. Based on your post, it’s very obvious that US have the same problems like the Philippines involving drug lords, drug dealers, drug addiction, homelessness, poverty, uneducated voters, etc. Whether you like it or not, these constituencies have the same rights like you to be represented in the national assembly and have the same rights like you to select who is going to represent them. Problema at kasalanan na nila kung bakit nila pinili si Rep. Maxine Waters. Siya ang gusto nila, di ba? Ganoon din kina Edwin, problema at kasalanan na nila kung bakit nila pinili si Rep. Pete Stark. From what I understand, nobody is allowed to vote in their area except them. Siya ang gusto nila kaya siya ang nanalo sa halalan, di ba? It is up to them to decide whether to maintain or replace him in the next election with somebody who can serve their community better. Ganiyan din dapat sa Pilipinas. Nobody should be allowed to vote within a specific community segment except those who are residing within that area.
Edwin said, “As a Northern Californian I can not think of one thing Maxine Waters has done that has benefited anyone outside of her district.” If we look closely, the Jubilee Act for Expanded Debt Cancellation and Responsible Lending which was introduced in the House by Rep. Waters and was being advocated by Jose de Venecia III, we will clearly see that it will benefit mostly people in Africa which is obviously outside of her district. The countries that stand to benefit from the Jubilee Act are those that are called Heavily Indebted Poor Country (HIPC) which, by the way, does not include the Philippines in the list that is why I was wondering what Landoil Resources Corporation got to do with the Jubilee Act.
Mr. Pontaoe, it never occurred to me that my donation to FBP is also your concern, not only tax dollars of America. I can rest assure you that the money I donated did not come from American taxpayers but you are more than welcome to give also your voluntary donation to FBP. My donation by the way is for the projects of FBP which is to help in the tutorial for out-of-school youth in Talibon, Bohol, medical Assistance for a boy named Stanly who has a leukemia, Handog Pamasko project in Batag, one of the severely damaged barangays at the coastal area of Virac, Christmas gifts for poor children in Balut, Tondo and some areas in Cebu.
Unfortunately, we do not have FBP Chapter yet in Pangasinan. I like to take this opportunity to ask again my Kabaleyans, especially those who are currently residing in the province and the youths, to join the organization so that we can form Pangasinan FBP Chapter in the near future.
Godspeed to all.
