Once again politics rears its ugly head. There is no reason, other than political, to challenge a court ruling regarding the issuance of a building permit for the future tourist/commercial building.

City Engineer Ma. Virginia Rosario is bound by law, which she swore to uphold, to comply with the court order.

We all know that Mayor Fernandez does not want the building built simply because it would be another feather on former Mayor Lim’s hat and not his.

Money wasted on court challenges could be better used for the people of the city.
