Fighting back!

As one of the unfortunate victims, I’m elated to know that come next week’s Punch issue, this ever reliable and impartial local newspaper, will generously publish the names of hapless motorists who unknowingly paid POSO, parking violation fees and towing fees that are illegal to begin with.
Media expose can truly encourage people, muster courage in fighting back against unscrupulous people in the government.
I also commend the unwavering effort of CLO George Mejia in getting to the bottom of this shameful scam. I hope the present city administration will not treat POSO chief, Robert Erfe-Mejia with a kid glove.
I, and some people I know, thought for awhile that POSO was doing a great job. Little did we know that this government agency was created to defraud the public. This is totally unacceptable.
Moreover, I think POSO should be abolished because we have enough police recruits to do the job, since they have the proper training in handling public order and safety, and they are a better deterrent to crimes.
