Mr. Pontaoe, for once we agree – almost. I don’t blame all of the mess on the president.

Like most Filipinas, GMA is most likely being an obedient wife following the dictates of the rat she is married to. It was not Mrs. Arroyo who filed libel charges against the Tulfo brothers and other journalists to shut them up. It was dear old Mike.

Yes, the pressure against these journalists may have come from the Malacanang but most likely under on orders from the philandering first “gentleman.” It hurts me to see what is being done by the politicians who were elected by the populace to represent them only to be betrayed.

I cannot vote since I am not a citizen of the Philippines. That is why I very seldom write anything negative. It hurts to see the country I was born in being dragged through the gutter by a bunch of crooks.

I can only pray that the voters educate themselves and vote for people who are interested in the betterment of their country and not their wallets.
