Think of the future, not politics

I just want to comment on what I observed with the new administration in Dagupan City. It seems the new administration is looking for any wrongdoing of the past administration.
First, the closing of the ongoing construction of the Magsaysay Center. What will happen now with the expected income of the city from the rental and the business taxes of probable tenant if it would take years to resolve the controversy? Millions of pesos will be lost, why not settle it amicably or make some revisions to the contract where there seems to be not favorable to the government.
Let’s forget the political side of the controversy so that our city will move for the better. The city council should initiate a move to settle the controversy.
Look at Urdaneta City, they’re about to overtake Dagupan now, they are now on the way to First class status. Businesses are sprouting fast in Urdaneta, I heard that another big business branch in a 49-hectare along the highway going to Sta. Barbara will be put up soon, not to mention the proposed SM near the new city hall.
Second, the parking lot at the Malimgas Market. Think of better alternative so that it will benefit the city government.
Let’s forget the past election, think for the future!
