The true heroes

Eduardo Pontaoe Aha! You have revealed yourself as a true socialist.
Yes, there have been misdeeds by Enron and a few other companies in the past and I am sure that there will be others in the future. Remember, were it not for large corporations you would not be in the U.S. condemning everything that is being attempted in the Philippines.
If I were in your shoes I would be back home running for office instead of complaining from the comforts of your home in Chicago. You could do a lot more for Pangasinan by running for barangay captain. (Excuse me, I didn’t mean to insult you. I know you would rather be President but you can’t do that from Chicago).
It’s easy to complain from the safety of 9,000 miles. It’s a lot harder to do it from Santa Barbara or any other place in the Philippines as the last election so graphically showed.
Those that put, or in many cases, gave their lives in their belief that they could improve their country are the true heroes. These men and women didn’t complain from afar, they acted.
Quit complaining. Be positive. If you can’t do that do what Douglas MacArthur did. “Fade away.”
