Re: Archbishop defends Catholic Church

The Church clergies are trying to defend the Church because of remarks made by President-elect Rodrigo Duterte. Yes, the Church and the Pope are out of step with todays world. Birth control; the church adamantly opposes the use of the pill. Children are being brought into the world by parents who are not able to care for the child. Children cannot survive on love alone. I am against abortion at any time therefore I am opposed to anything that will harm the child AFTER conception. The pill or other birth control devises, on the other hand, PREVENT conception therefore there is no killing of a living matter. The Church had better get with it and prepare itself for a blitz of just criticism where and when it is due.
