Re: Extra-large illegal fish pens still up
Surprise, surprise! As I predicted after the election of Her Highness illegal fish pens would still be in operation doing environmental damage to Dagupan City’s river long after her ascent to the city throne. To date there are still 77 illegal fish pens untouched excluding those that are being claimed to be legitimate. The legitimacy of these pens as well as the other known to be illegal brings to question if there is any money being consider in deciding the fate of these questionable fish pens. No accusations are being made because there is no evidence (so far)of misconduct by anyone in the city government but with all the shenanigans occurring in government, pork barrel, etc., it helps to keep an eye on those who have been entrusted by the voters to run a clean, honest and transparent government.
Again, kudos to the Sunday Punch for their unbiased reporting of this matter.
