DON’T hesitate to drop by Am Am Restaurant across (almost) ABS CBN when you are in Dagupan.

And be able to tell yourself what a gourmand’s feast you’d get from steak to a baby pork back’s ribs… yum yum! You wouldn’t know what you’re missing until you have a bite.

Am-Am is owned by businessman Bobby Jabanes. It’s ok, Bob, you can expect us to keep coming back for this gastronomical feast.

Our newly elected mayor Belen Fernandez — who became acting mayor this early by virtue of outgoing Mayor Benjie Lim’s incapacity to manage the city — has shown early her passion for work.

Acting pa lang siya ha, but she already has done a lot.

Very shocking ang natagpuan niya: the city’s finances in shambles! Nakakadismaya, ang daming consultants or solsoltants, araya may 15-30 variety. BSL gave us the impression, no nayari amo, inseksek ton amin iray kaalyado to at the expense of the city’s basic needs.

Manmulagat kayod saya: the city has spent P7.9 million for overtime pay.

Those who joined her make the rounds were gnashing their teeth at the city administration’s wanton and thoughtless extravagance!

Amta yo agagui, no ag nan meyor si Belen, amay impagawa o impagawan P40 million tsunami hill ed Barangay Pugaro man maliw ya P70 million. Anggapon balot so silbi to ta agagui, based on even just simple common sense.

Methinks it’s really God’s will that this obscene extravagance will stop.

Dakdakel ni ray i-unmask tayo jad sayan kolum. We advise you to first, take tranquilizer as we reveal the lurid details.

Whatt!!!??? Some people want us to stop? Wait a minute.

We wish to remind those who are hurting (arayamay walad pay roll) who have been texting us to hold our punches. Please allow us. We are not anti-BSL as a person and cumpadre. We are only after the mismanagement of the city. Not the person, agagui, but the act or acts. We shall protect to the last drop our cumpadre’s person, yes, to the last drop, but please, in the name of governance, no one and no one under our democratic system can tell us to hold our freedom and speak our mind and heart.

Now, our right to speak.

We are aware of the machinations by a pathetic media group that wants to take over the leadership of the local press club

Ok tayo dyan. It’s fair game. But we want this someone who has the temerity to tell our colleagues that respected businessman Tony Cabangon Chua reportedly offered to fund that group’s campaign kitty if only to topple us from the presidency.

We shall soon see personally Mr. Chua for this. We have to warn him not to interfere in our press club politics.

Or his business suffers. Maybe some people are using his name without his knowledge. We know him to be a good and intelligent businessman, otherwise he would not have succeeded as a businessman.

BTW, could the visit of Johnny Dayang here last week have something to do with this?

This we shall know.
