Re: Libel
Libel as defined – is a defamation of character either it’s published or spoken. It carries with it the destructive weight on a person’s exposure to hatred; shame; disgrace; contempt or ridicule.
It also injures the person’s reputation in his/her occupation.
With the complaints signed and delivered to the City Prosecutor Office by the … Gonzlinger … himself, against the purveyors of the untruth namely . . . EDMUND SALACUP of DZWN Bombo Radyo Dagupan; LEO PARAGAS, a consultant at The Benjie’s City Hall; ORLANDO “Orly” NAVARRO, a freelance newspaperman; and JAY MENDOZA, the station manager of DZRD Radio in Dagupan – the twin Colt Peacemakers are loaded, cocked and ready to fire – ready for any eventuality.
This lawsuit came out due to the unfounded and fallacious reports, that maligned Lyceum-Northwestern University’s policy, how it granted master and doctoral degrees.
These rascals … lackeys of the Benjie … whose brains are smaller than grains of dirt, accused the LNU and its administration – the school itself, is a diploma mill selling degrees for a fee.
It thus put the university in disrepute, wherein it could destroy the foundation it stands on. To address this issue, and to bring back LNU whole, it must sue to the limits of the law.
THE BURDEN OF PROOF . . .
In most legal systems, the courts give the defendants the benefit of the doubt, and in this case the evidential load lies on the truth, that what they blabbered in the air is unblemished facts not pure hearsay.
However, the traditional legal positions on libel is that: a defamatory statement is presumed to be false, unless the defendants can prove it’s the truth.
It could suggest this should come to the assumption of the innocence of the plaintiff, in the face of accusation leveled by the defendants.
THE SCANDALUM GONZLINGERATUM . . .
The spreading of false reports against the LNU, and the Gonzlinger, are by nature criminal.
It’s thereby recommended, these … suckers … should be given no break … no quarter!
Squeeze ‘em hard until they cry out The Benjie made them do it.
