‘Padalos dalos’
By Gonzalo Duque
PEOPLE loosely call the MC Adore sale “MaCaderia.” Please find out why
Mayor Benjie Lim’s lapdogs too early have started howling and barking that the rosy days of the Lim administration have become rosier with the imminent sale of MC Adore. They are in for a big surprise.
Howls of protest have been raised against MC Adore sale “for a song” (P119 million).
Kasi dapat P300 million. The bidding proceeded on January 7 and was allegedly won by a certain Bing Ramos of the Cabangon Chua conglomerate.
The bidding committee, as expected’ is headed by none other than Mayor Benjie Lim who has been salivating to sell it (akin kasi? Ah, eleksyon la manaya.)
But it hit a snag! Sanggunian Secretary Ryan Ravanzo after posting P50 million in surety bond was able to secure a writ of injunction from the Court which issued a Temporary Restraining order, issued by RTC Judge Emma Torio on January 9.
So how about it?
It’s far from over, fellas.
Reminds us about another failed Benjie Lim adventure – or misadventure – in Malasiqui town where Magic Group and the Municipality of Malasiqui lost to the Lambino-Armas partnership that deplored the project as illegal. The RTC earlier sustained the agreement, but the Court of Appeals declared it null and void.
Moral of the story: agkayo padalos dalos, ta napatapba kayo. Sobray bilis yo. Singa amay impan-file yoy Belen T ( ) ya onlaban ya mayor.
Whatever happened to that case? Tsk….tsk…
Singa FPJ movie. Si Ronnie, maples ed gatilyo. Si Benjie maples ed katiw.

We are glad that the De Venecia Camp now led by Rep. Gina de Venecia did not bite the deductive overtures of Mayor Benjie Lim for “practical consideration.”
Benjie would try to trap the De Venecias into a deal in the name of saving a lot of money for you know why Celia Chua Lim is running against the popular re-electionist Gina.
You know what happened last time?
We’re warning the De Venecias against falling into Benjie’s trap for their own good. It’s very risky to lose the friendship and loyalty of Vice Mayor Belen Fernandez. Mairap ya ombarong yay amigan Belen, Kuya Joe.
There’s always a possibility though maybe out of spite—of a Lim—Belen Fernandez tandem in the future, which won’t be good to the De Venecias.
As they always say, there are no permanent friends—only permanent interests.
We see Macky Samson smiling.

The letter “M” intrigues us.
It is a symbol of something you cannot understand like magic.
Lately, out there in Malasiqui, it meant failure. Then here comes MC Adore or Macaderya.
Hmm…agka you masyadon masinti.
Nen asabian koy Mayor Lim ed sakey sa restaurant Fortune – or mis-fortune ed datin Magsaysay Park (letter M lamet) now Metro Plaza (M lamet), say kwantod sayan writer, “sino ka ba?” Asakitan toy makter ya anak tayon Nanoy ya katabin toy Ashok, who was playing Kissinger to no avail.
Agtila dokoyan ya. Kerew kod meyor tan saray alipores to, tondaan la kumon so OPLAN Katiw!
Macapoy, agagui!
