Lahat ng lugar ay may kasaysayan. History could be written where you could google Pangasinan sa internet and you could see the rich history and culture of Pangasinan ito ay Written History.
Another form is called Oral History where it is passed from one generation to another, from father to son to grandson and so forth. Di lahat ng nakasulat ay tama o nangyari. It is possible that the story of Urduja is based on a real person which predates the Spanish conquest since natives might not have a sophisticated writing system.
Tignan ninyo mga muslim na walang birth certificate pero they trace their ancestry. Di ko sinasabing mayroon ngang Princesa Urduja,pero possibleng mayroon. Cgurado ka ba na walang history ang pangasinan? Pag cnabi mong oo, walang history then magpasuri ka na amigo. supot na gawgaw tan balkot na tuyo tan galonggong so basaen, he! he! he!
