Let’s burn the mist of uncertainty on Dugout Doug’s footsie-footing on the shores of the Gulf.

On the invasion plans at Lingayen after Leyte Gulf, which fell under the command of Nimitz, the whole beachhead … Red, Blue, Yellow … starting from San Fabian to Sual comprised the Lingayen Gulf landings.

So, any activity falling under the plan whether San Fabian, Dagupan. Lingayen or Sual, was dubbed Lingayen’s.

I will have to forcefully disagree with Gov. Estrella, that the actor extraordinaire MacArthur confided to him about where he first set foot on the beach.

According to Mac’s aides with him – a book was written about this – his foot touched the sand off … San Fabian.

Kuno-kuanda …. doesn’t mean a thing!
