Re: Defective budget delays passage
This proposed 2011 budget, has the earmarks of past boogie-woogie of The Benjie. The ghosts of Awai, dredging machine, McAdore Hotel, Magsaysay Park, Malimgas Market, are coming out the woodwork, to haunt the – gullible – people of Dagupan . . . once again!
The numbers that were . . .
If the budget numbers wouldn’t clicked, backed off, and juggled to be forced down the throat of the SP. CBO Ildefonso “Makulimlim” Calimlim, thought he got it all cut to size; when he brought flawed documents for the SP to sign on, without proper scrutiny, which to his … idiotic belief … it could muster a passage with flying colors. How wrong he was!
A slaughter house that never was . . .
What a boondoggle! An abattoir for things to come? This idea’s a signal, the city’s due for a killing, that if it comes to another The Benjie debacle, he couldn’t be blamed you’re warned. Look at these puppets of City Hall. The chutzpah to come to a hearing with the intention to hoodwink, to put wool over SP’s eyes, believing they’re not astute enough to see the glaring corruption before them. What a nerve!
The brakes are on . . .
Kudos should be given to the SP in its governmental duties. The time has come, a group of fiscally responsible people cannot be coerced or intimidated, by the power that be . . . The Benjie. This time around he blinked first!
And to the SP I say,” Stand fast!”
