Use the river

Re: More boats needed
One of the things the city should do with the help of the provincial government is to dredge the river tributaries and the mouth of the river leading to the open sea. This will surely alleviate and prevent the inundation of the low-lying barangays and make downstream flow faster.
Put the money to good use instead of going into the pockets of corrupt public servants.
The city should also make plans to use the river as another option of transporting goods and people to and from neighboring barangays in order to decongest traffic flow in the main thoroughfare and in the downtown core.
It makes sense to emulate other places where boats, ferries and rafts are used as a mode of transportation.
