Why did he do it?

Crucial Hesitation:

Why not analyze what pushed this bemedalled police officer to the point where he risked his life. He was cleared by the internal affairs, the accuser did not appear twice with the Ombudsman and yet Mendoza was dismissed. The deputy Ombudsman was asking him 240,000.00 pesos bribe initially, then came down to 150,000.00 pesos. The Ombudsman refused to provide his dismissal papers so he cannot appeal his case to the higher courts. Ibinibitin ang kaso niya para bumigay siya sa demand ni Deputy Ombudsman. Mali ang mga binanatan niya. If he was guilty of the allegations, do you think he will go to this extent of risking his life?

After he was cleared by the internal affairs, the police administration is supposed to fight his case with the Ombudsman, not him personally fending for himself.

The corruption in the system is the root cause of the event. He was the one who arrested Lim’s son on drug charges. All of this was on TV and written in the media. Somehow even the media did not properly analyze the root cause of the problem.

I hope other honest policemen who have pending cases will not become so desperate that another incident will happen. If the extreme happens, I hope they will pick out the CROOKS that put them in their predicament, not the innocent people. At least they will be executing the HIGHEST FORM OF PUBLIC SERVICE.
