It is the poor people’s illegal gambling that causes the corruption and crimes in the Philippines so legalized gambling in poor communities do not necessarily lead to reduction in crimes.
America where most people work and enforce the laws, and the poor Philippines are worlds apart. I believe that job creation in one place cannot just be replicated in another place like saying “cuno tan cuanda”. The gambling laws in Nevada do work because they enforce it. The climate in Nevada allows year round tourism attraction.
Do we have that in Dagupan? Think about it.
