Nuclear energy, road to Utopia

Re: A contradiction
Hooray for forward thinking official such as Governor Espino. All the doom and gloom talk about nuclear power are from people against progress. These people would have us living in caves, wearing figs leaves and living on the animals raised in pigsties. Science moves forward with every breath we take and with each step risks must be taken.
Recently, while perusing the Lawrence Livermore Nuclear Laboratory website I came across an interesting article. To read this article go to “llnl.gov.” After connecting to the home page type “LIFE thermonuclear fusion reactor” in their search box. Much is still experimental but is very promising.
Maybe the detractors of nuclear power will realize that the use of nuclear energy is not the gateway to Armageddon but will be the road to Utopia.
Had the Wright brothers listened to their detractors, their one minute flight would not have led to the development of the present day jets that allow us to fly thousands of miles across the oceans today.
Also, except in Russia when was the last atomic plant meltdown? No, Three Miles did not melt down and was caused by HUMAN error.
