The technology is very much in use and I believe it is the ACE in the cold war with China. Ever wonder why most of the typhoons previously originating around Guam mostly end up going to the Three Gorges Dam in China? Only very little news coverage was put out but the damages were significant. I also wonder why a few commercial planes just flew into the eye of a typhoon before crashing. After so many typhoons hit China, China complained, and then shoots its own satellite in Jan. 11, 2007 with their anti-satellite weapon (AST) and the US also shoots its own on Feb. 21, 2008. I call that “flexing muscles”.
Ever wonder why some typhoons will make very unusual turns and turn around and land a few times in the Philippines? One super typhoon that was directly and about to hit the northern Philippines was totally “FRAGMENTED”. It was like in some movies.
Another example was when a typhoon (more than two years ago) was about to hit Guam but no airplane at Andersen Air Force Base left for safety in Okinawa which means they have absolute confidence in the technology’s capability. And of course, the typhoon was fragmented and then after it passed Guam as a mere weather disturbance, it reorganized back into a typhoon.
The very unusual cloud formation (I have quite a few pictures of it) in Guam is something that most people here wonder about and they always blame it on the “global warming”.
During the Vietnam war, it was silver iodide spray and in 1974 I told a Chamorro co-worker, who was also a mayor in one of the villages, and he thought that the technology does not exist.
Finally, ever wonder why they are deploying all of these military hardware and personnel here? Biological weapons that are products of genetic engineering is much more dangerous (harder to control) and is one of the five (5) warfare strategy of China against the US. China has the technology to control birds by satellite.
Remember the US-mandated state emergency plan for H1N1 pandemic? In the Philippines, the plan is to deny the existence of the H1N1 virus under GMA. Hawaii will convert all hotels into hospitals. Obama is reducing nuclear weapons, so is a new deterrent now available and more effective? I believe so. Ever wonder what would have happen if these weapons are done by the so-called “Engineering by Chance” (means Patsamba-tsamba Engineer, P.E.) as suggested by the Doctor Extraordinaire?
