With Noynoy in his radio hopping in Dagupan

FOR two days, our favorite presidential candidate Noynoy Aquino invaded Pangasinan province, traditionally a Liberal Party bailiwick.
His aura which we saw at close range reminded us of what Philippine Star executive editor Ana Marie Pamintuan wrote in her column last Friday singling him out as the next president most likely.
What saddened us was the unholy timing of an Aksyong Radyo interview at past high noon, when not many were listening to radio. We hope the broadcast network had re-aired it.
You see, the LP’s round of the province that saw the team led by Noynoy himself and Vice Presidential bet Mar Roxas was swamped with people and yet on record was never marred by “hakot,” a notorious political device.
Like his late parents, our national hero Ninoy and past president Cory, Noynoy doesn’t believe in “make-ups,” or those artificial makeovers to ornament reality. The crowds therefore which were in thousands were show windows of Filipinos who came to see and listen to him. We ourselves couldn’t believe his — or his team’s — drawing power, which is reminiscent of the Cory magic. Those who were downplaying that magic have changed their minds.
Foremost of his campaign line is reflected in his slogan, “kung walang korap, walang mahirap.”
Our economists are still debating if it’s corruption or wrong economic policy that has brought down to country to its knees, but you and us know deep inside that corruption engendered by distorted values has damaged our culture as a people with a vision of greatness.
How come, our friends keep asking us, why we are for Noynoy, and we readily tell them, “kasi siya lang ang may pedigree na kalaban ng korap. Yong iba, suntok pa sa buwan.” Mabuti na yong sigurado, kasi matagal na tayong biktima ng korapsyon.”
If only our people reflect hard and deeply, it’s only Noynoy who has the track for a leadership that will free the country from the mess that it’s at.

An administration loyalist has confessed that most of those who did not want to be involved in the political so-sos are at heart for Noynoy.
He said that the millions who have seen and understood what Noynoy’s parents had gone through in fighting corruption will write his name on the ballot… and no one else. How about the God-mouthing evangelist who also wants to be president?
We were also asked. We said, “Why did he enter this dirty business in the first place?” Religion is pure business plain and simple.
Look at his unbrotherly brother in Mike Velarde, who is all wet as drooling for pecuniary and wordly matters? Mag kasosyo pala sila ni Villar. Please open your eyes.

If we were a painter, that would be surrealistic or abstract. Antalusable. Brod Cesar, a modern art collector, would probably buy it. Hmmm, baka ayaw, dahil it involves real people e. As we said before, akoti koti.
