Heads in the sand

Illegal fish pens:
It is election time so politicians won’t dare to touch these eyesores along the rivers or there will be backlash come May 10.
Whatever happened to the drive to dismantle private armies after the gruesome massacre in Maguindanao?? People still need a source of livelihood, what is needed is to weed out the ones that do not have permits and not paying license fees. It has to be regulated to find balance.
To see, hear and say no evil till after election period is reason to take the concerned authorities to court if they still bury their heads in the sand.
I challenge anybody to file cases to local courts or to the Office of the Ombudsman who has mandate to investigate people who abuse power. A journey of a thousand miles starts with a first step.
