Re: 21st century technology for RP
On April 5, 2002 the Ulchin nuclear power plant located in northeastern part of South Korea has a ruptured steam generator tube releasing 45 tons of primary coolant. The Korean Hydro and Nuclear Power together with Ministry of Science and Technology reported the incident as a minor coolant leakage. 45 TONS is a MAJOR leakage!
There have been numerous nuclear power accidents (America, 9 incidents) that went unreported since the introduction and installations of nuclear power plants.
As I have stated from my previous response, the catastrophic effects of nuclear powers outweighs the rewards. For a country such as ours, there are viable alternatives to satisfy the demands for high tech living.
Twenty-first century technology is now geared towards going GREEN. The earth had suffered enough. We have heard the voices of the politicians, their sweet talks and promises. But in the end, it is us who would carry the burden of their broken promises… It is us who would suffer the consequences of their deceptive intentions.
In summation, Korean technology is not the answer to our problem. Wake up my KABALEYANS!
