Re: Pangasinan’s founding

Historical truth will stand tall preventing – Gonzalo Duque – and his band of clowns declaring April 5, 1580, as the founding of Pangasinan.

If they insist to screw every Pangasinense, that this date “implies” Pangasinan was chartered . . . . is not enough.

It meant Gonzalo Duque inferred such “conclusive” evidence emerged from facts e.g. a smoke infer fire.

What if . . . that smoke, is a cloud of hot air coming out his head?

Simple analytical deductions . . . based on reality . . . will tell us this April 5, 1580, is flawed.

The simple reasons . . .

1) April 5, 1580, was the month and year Gonzalo Ronquillo De Penalosa – alguacil-mayor (major constable) in Mexico contracts with the Spanish king to colonize the islands with title governor for life.

Prior to this, encomiendas (royal land grants) were given starting during the term of of Governor General Labezares in 1572, but not designating Pangasinan as one of them based on recorded facts.

2) During this period 1580, there was no recorded fact Pangasinan was chartered.

3) Encomiendas – are granted property rights . . . I repeat property rights . . . for people ass-kissing the governor-general. It is not chartering or founding of a province or place . . . as The Gonz suggested. That’s how mediocre intellectually he can be.

4) According to records probably missed by these . . . intellectual flyweights . . . the chartering of Pangasinan was during the governorship of Juan De Silva, April, 1609 – April 19, 1616.

Butt of jokes . . .

Gonzalo Duque, and his gang should be 100% sure, that what they have in their hands, is not a . . . . dirty bomb.

Pangasinan could become an object of ridicule, and with it – Espin-off.
