Re: Sual port better than airport
The Sual port is a must with the power plant nearby needing diesel fuel to keep NAPOCOR power grid from rolling blackouts.
The San Roque dam, from the news, has been generating trickle of power due to low water levels. It had greatly affected the Luzon power grid.
Yes, it is the same San Roque that some wanted to close down due to operator greed and criminal neglect during Typhoon Peping.
Imagine if it was shut down permanently where would the power come from? People are feeling some love now from Alaminos power plant and San Roque power generation.
Back to the port, with bulk of fuel needed for the power plant and no pipeline to speak of in our part of region the port will be a must to infuse badly needed fuel.
A welcome addition to the infrastructure of our region with government private partnership in action.
