Suing takes forever

Re: Culture buffeted by malfeasance
Mr. Pontaoe,
I travel a lot more on business trips to Japan, Hong Kong and Europe every year, but not to the Philippines.
Doing business in the Philippines is a waste of time. I did that 20 years ago with a business partner in Manila for a pharmaceutical company. I lost a lot of money.
I did not say that all government employees in the Philippines are corrupt, you read too much in something that’s not there. Narrow-minded? Idiotic.
Also suing someone in the Philippines takes forever. It happened to my parents and they already passed away. The person they sued keeps appealing the case and it’s not over yet until now. Please don’t compare USA from the Philippines regarding legal matters.
