Re: Just make-believe scenarios
Mr.Rodolfo “jojo” Casilang Jr.,
You should see those buildings floating in the James Bond movie I mentioned and draw parallel to the ridiculous raising of buildings proposed for Dagupan.
Right after I made my posting in this Forum about the background plot to wipe out evidence using the cover of martial law, an Inquirer columnist and an ANC commentary were sounding off similar to the movie plot I had articulated that happens in government mess up and clean-up at any cost. What imaginary scenarios did those serious columnist and journalist have to draw such suspicions only from movies?
Besides if anything else, GMA had a reaction and came out and defended her martial law.
Enjoy the movies because to some they are exactly what they are, make-believe. That is why some are banned by dictators who do not want to see the truth behind the make-believes. I guess they did not enjoy make-believe of themselves.
Militants would stand up and rally all day. That is reality. Some would make movies and write columns. Some would even sing songs. They all point to conflicts in our society and a way to portray them in different mediums.
Once upon a time, there was a time when people believed in movies and learned from them. Besides I still believe in Kuwento ni Lola Basyang and Juan Tamad. Especially that part when Juan bought crabs from Lolo Carpio and told them to walk home.
