From zeroing votes to zeroing outrage

Mr. Rodolfo “jojo” Casilang Jr.,

I would not go as far as “Ampatuan family murdered law-abiding Filipinos”, because some of those people they allegedly massacred used to be their political allies and in fact of the same blood as they were.

In fact they may have done some of the same horrific deeds as their cousins in some of the graves they are digging. Now if you were talking about those journalists found in some of the grave sites they had recently unearthed, then I tend to agree with you.

The disregard of the perpetrators of the rule of law is a big slap to GMA and to all Filipinos. GMA, for letting both families run around not only in Maquindanao with guns but even in Metro Manila because they were her people according to columnist Ramon Tulfo of Inquirer.

In fact according to this columnist, GMA talked to the Ampatuan’s but did not ask for their surrender to the PNP. She only assured them of the safe route she will take so they will keep her secret. Mr. Tulfo went on to say that these families were bigger than all the generals in the Philippine armed forces.

This massacre headlined abroad and unfolding in their nightly TV newscast tainted all Filipinos. It dwarfed the proud news of Pacquiao winning his seven championship belts.

Now let us observe how GMA deals with this one by looking back at the zero votes of FPJ and opposition senatorial bets. See how she could zero the outrage not only in the Philippines but throughout the whole world. Should Miriam Santiago now sit in the World Court and champion justice?
