Re: Illegal fishpens

  the issue has been brought to the government’s attention  for some time now and no positive action was done.

My friend who has a fishpond there told me that since the government is not doing anything, he said someone is thinking of poisoning the entire river since the illegal fish pen owners are the only ones benefiting from it.

“Sabi niya “Parepareho na lang kaming lahat na hindi makikinabang.” The illegal fish pens are the ones causing the fish kills, so if someone poisons the river, my friend said they are even.

He said the fuse is fast becoming very, very short. If that happens, then there is no need for the legitimate fishpond owners to be at the mercy of city hall to solve the problem. It is very difficult to catch the culprit and it is also cheaper (city hall is more expensive) and less frustrating according to my sources.

Think about it ASAP before someone’s fuse lights up, folks.
