Re: FVR: Arroyo gov’t also accountable

To agree or not to agree is not the question.

The fact is that Pangasinan is devastated through negligence. It behooves the government in charge to accept that the disaster happened during their watch.

In any parliamentary government around the world with such a scandalous disaster attributable to bad governance, the only recourse of the disgraced party or administration in power is outright resignation but unfortunately, since the Philippines has a presidential form of government and that the current administration is repulsive to the word resignation, and the Lower House is beholden to the administration, the affected people must exercise their powerful vote to replace the administration and all its party cohorts who must share the collective blame for all the malaise pervading the country’s political scenery.

People of Pangasinan, you must remember that your forefathers fought for your freedom and welfare with their blood.

Remember the Palaris revolt in Binalatongan, now San Carlos City and the Colorum revolt in Tayug when you cast your vote in 2010
