How could Guvnor Espin-off be that stupid? He’d surrounded himself with the rats, roaches, and termites of The Benjie’s Dagupan City hellhole, that got them leading him by the nose to perdition.
Is it? He just has no eyes like newly born mice, and couldn’t see or he has nothing up his skull and can’t think right, but the toupee that occupies his mind.

Dredging machine, huh? Right off the playbook of Provincial Administrator Rafael “Excuses” Baraan …. Provincial Legal Chicken Geraldine “Dindirindin” Baniqued … Loudmouthed Press Secretary Butch Velasco, and special adviser to Espin-off himself, the one and only The Benjie.
The possibility of lightning striking twice the same place is one in a million – not in Pangasinan – where the probability of an occurrence in one to ten is nine out of ten.
Why buy a machine when there’s one floating at Pantal, rusting and without gas? Would Alipio sell it to enterprising Espin-off’s cabal of evil? I don’t think so!
Buying this clunker is not in the best interest of the cabal. There’s no money to be made. At $2.5M a pop in today’s dollars, it could be a killing a Southern carpetbagger would love.
How many . . . .?
Somebody floated around buying that junk of Alipio is a reasonable thing to do. Less expensive, but the cabal knew there’s still a loan to be paid saddling the city.
Deep analysis is needed to pick the crooked brains of the cabal where they are coming from and where they’re going.
Did they say Pangasinan rivers? Rivers . . . . are a plurality of more than one. If so, the cabal’s idea of a dredging machine, is not only one, but a few. How few? Few enough to saturate the rivers they were talking about.
And this’ where the killing begins . . . . Pangasinan killing fields!
