The entry of Gina de Venecia into politics is just another sad example of what is wrong in the Philippines: These damned politicians and personalities just could not be WEANED OFF THE TROUGH. Too many freebies and much money still to be made to let go of a seat in the congress perhaps? Everybody knows that Jose de Venecia will be calling the shots.

The voters are a bunch of suckers that could be bought for a song and dance, and yeah, don’t forget the t-shirt… These gullible voters should start thinking that term limits are made into law for good reasons.
