Welcome to America, Mr. Gonzalo – again!
You seemed not affected by the merry-go-round happening around the world, that this country of mine, is becoming your playground – your oyster if you will.
I understand that, not on limited point of view, but you must check foremost on your … sisters … who left you and Cesar behind.
America . . . is in dire traits going belly-up, and the talk among Pangasinenses and Ilocanos, is to pull the stakes and fly back in-haste to Pangasinan.
The consensus . . .
Not all “true-blooded” Pangasinenses turned Aremicano don’t have the wherewithal to return to a place, where the comforts of home are something to be desired … non-existent.
And as of that, a dinner’s in order at Wynn’s or at Red Ribbon’s – you ask one or anybody of your sisters, if they have the urge to relocate to a place, where Jun Velasco and Pareng Spines described as a nice setting to live and raise a family.
I think, they will just look at you … saying nothing … as if you’re the Devil coming straight from Hell.
On Dolfinger . . .
He will be missed! I’ll miss those olden days when we used to go to the Opera House at Avenida Rizal in the ’60’s, to watch him and Panchito Alba do their thing. What a tandem!
On VM Belen (Blame) Fernandez . . .
Poor kawawang Belen! She’s learning her lessons in political mumbo-jumbo the hard way. She never developed a thick skin like Dumbo or the craftiness of The Benjie, a prerequisite to withstand anything thrown at her.
With the Ides of March past her, she’s now given the coup de grace not to recover – the Day of the Long Talibongs – when the people he trusted delivered her … completely … to a place with no lights and less air to breath.
On Dagupan . . .
With The Benjie given blanket authority – the battle for the survival of this city begins.
It could be Stalingrad all over again!
