The ignorant and inept clowncilor Dr. Jesus Canto, did the most atrocious and treasonous thing to Dagupan, when he conspire with The Benjie; to pass a resolution he knew was detrimental to the financial health of the city he’s supposed to serve.

This clown said, “I just did my job as a presiding officer. No agko ginawa so obligacion ko (dyutek), anto’y ibaga da ey.”
A very lame excuse from a … fool. What he should have done, is rescued himself from the emergency (kapandalakorok) session, and wait for Jeslito Seen and Belen Fernandez to come back from the states.

For all intents and purposes, The Benjie, was waiting like a thief in the deep of night, to rob the city knowing what’s left behind to guard city business, are not only blind and powerless, but easily coerced to do The Benjie’s puppetry.
The I don’t know what happened ….
When asked why the change in the session’s starting time, he just shrugged his shoulders and pretended he was unaware on what’s happening, the hallmark of a – lapdog – always ready to kiss The Benjie’s ass.
The ask them ….
Again when forced to answer why he did not wait for Belen Fernandez and Jeslito Seen – who are arriving on Monday, the 23rd, he responded again in complete stupidity; “Ask them.”
Ask who? The Benjie? I can only surmise what The Benjie would have had answered Clowncilor Canto, “Sarasarag kon pappapleken so kaoloan yo singa Pinocchio.”
The Pearl-Harbor-like-assault …
Clowncilor Canto should have noticed something’s afoot, when he saw Guillermo Vallejos and John Chester Gonzalez, sitting-in-council, when the other … clowncilors … were missing to get a quorum.
But, nooooo!, he just let it went like a sitting-duck boat waiting for The Benjie’s torpedo attack, and obliterated the opposition’s opposition to every conceivable thing The Benjie.
The Ides of March …
I could see Belen Fernandez lying in a pool of blood, and uttering her last words: “Et tu, Jesus, Alvin, Chito, Karlos, Librada.”
