RP is slowly learning

Mr. Carrera,
That was the distinction of the palusot in the Philippines according to Senator Gordon. “Not a single important case had any closure from Bonifacio to Estrada and Arroyo.”
But in the States especially in the state of Illinois, three governors were sent to jail for corruption. Two governors from the east, NJ for the gay scandal and New York for solicitation (prostitution) resigned in shame. The governor Brdallo of Guam killed himself rather than be shamed in jail.
Were people praying for Estrada to do the same? Gov Blajovech of Illinois may be indicted soon. He was trying to peddle Obama’s senatorial post on quid pro quo.
The most corrupt state isn’t Illinois according to PBS, it is Arizona. Wow, no wonder they needed the pork barrel chopper, Senator McCain.
The Philippines, the way I see it, is slowly learning. They threw out most of the senatorial administration candidate of Arroyo in spite of massive money they spent in last election. So the people did not go the way of show business anymore.
But, when the Sandiganbayan and RP Court of Appeals could follow the example of the fiery prosecutors and the justices of US instead of the bag, then according to Gordon, “the culture of palusot will be minimized.”
