I fear that sometime in the future, the Dagupan Golf and Beach Club will disappear from the map of Bonuan. That it will be engulfed by speculative real estate developers turning it into gated communities or private properties.

I hope that there will soon be a city ordinance or a house bill in Congress to secure its existence and operation. This is one venue to enhance economic growth, tourism and sportsmanship among Dagupenos.

This golf course has character unique to the sports of golf in the whole world like in the 18th hole, players are challenged to putt into a hole in a Mayon volcano-like terrain.

This will surely put Tiger Woods to shame to shoot a 75 in 18 hole regulation course. I played in this course and did not score well as I’ve expected.

Very interesting golf course.
