Nothing chauvinistic

I read Mr. AG’s article re: Bini Filipino, four times to determine if any chauvinistic or racial overtone exist in his article. What drove this was the allegation that his piece is chauvinistic and insensitive. I failed to note any of indicia of chauvinism or insensitivity in the article.
What I notice though is that the article is well written in scientific tone and explained the cause and effect of the brain drain – it is on point. There is no absolutism in Mr. AG’s article.
Presently there has been exodus of well-qualified teachers into the US Public School System. The future generation will feel the effect of the absence of these teachers.
Let us not be so sensitive and read more into the piece when his intention is to bring to light the lost of our best resources – the Filipino brain.
